Egg Hunt

I hid one in the toaster

I hid one up my nose

I stuffed about a hundred

up Dad’s brand new garden hose.

I hid some in Mum’s slippers

I hid one in Nan’s hat

I hid two in the rabbit’s poo

I hid one in the cat.

I zapped some in the microwave

they made an awful stink

I hid one in a bar of soap

I dropped some down the sink.

I hid some in my Bolognese

I fed some to the plants

I put some in the washing machine

and in my brother’s pants.

I hid some in the kettle

and some behind the telly

and all the rest, I hid the best

deep down, inside my belly!
