Today's poem is for the Holy Sprit School, Lavington, NSW, Australia, with thanks to Bianca Grace. Thank you!

Where’s Santa?

Has anyone seen Santa?

He’s not upon the sleigh

wait – who’s that man down on the sand?

Yes – Santa’s catching waves!

Santa’s surfing, Santa’s surfing

Santa don’t fall in!

We need you back by Christmas Eve

or Christmas can’t begin!

Has anyone seen Rudolph?

He’s not where he should be

wait – who’s that watching Santa?

Yes – Rudolph’s in the sea!

Santa’s surfing, Santa’s surfing

Santa don’t fall in!

We need you back by Christmas Eve

or Christmas can’t begin!

Has anyone seen Mrs Claus?

It’s hours that she’s been gone

wait – who’s that down with Rudolph?

Yes – she’s cheering Santa on!

Oh!

Santa’s surfing, Santa’s surfing

Santa don’t fall in!

We need you back by Christmas Eve

or Christmas can’t begin!

Today's poem uses the word 'Presents', suggested by the writer Val Harris's grandson. Thank you!

Guess What I Know?!

Upstairs, downstairs, in the car

Shh! I know where my presents are!

Cupboard, greenhouse, breakfast bar

Shh! I know where my presents are!

On the piano, behind the guitar

Shh! I know where my presents are!

In the giant Christmas cookie jar

Shh! I know where my presents are!

Hiding places so bizarre - no,

I don’t know where YOUR presents are!
